Mahi Mahi with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

mahi mahi fillets
olive oil
butter
garlic
lemon juice
lemon zest
salt
black pepper
paprika
fresh parsley
chicken broth or white wine

Instructions

  • Pat mahi mahi fillets dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add fish and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth or white wine and simmer for a few minutes, scraping up any browned bits.
  • Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest. Let the sauce reduce slightly.
  • Return the fish to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets. Cook for another minute.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately

Notes

Fresh lemon juice provides the best flavor.Avoid overcooking the fish to keep it tender and flaky.You can substitute mahi mahi with cod, halibut, or another firm white fish.Add capers or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor variation.For a richer sauce, increase the butter slightly.
