Lobster Salad is a light and elegant seafood dish made with tender lobster meat, crisp vegetables, fresh herbs, and a creamy lemon-Dijon dressing. This easy lobster salad recipe is refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for sandwiches, lettuce wraps, appetizers, or light summer meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked lobster meat
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving

Instructions

  • Chop the cooked lobster meat into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Finely dice the celery and slice the green onions.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the celery, green onions, and parsley to the lobster meat.
  • Pour the dressing over the lobster mixture and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate the salad for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Serve chilled over lettuce leaves, in sandwiches, or with crackers.

Notes

Fresh lobster provides the best flavor, but thawed frozen lobster meat also works well.Avoid overmixing to keep the lobster pieces tender and intact.Add diced avocado or cucumber for extra freshness and texture.Old Bay seasoning can be added for classic seafood flavor.This lobster salad makes an excellent filling for toasted lobster rolls.
