This Life Changing Tahini Scoopable Cookie is rich, gooey, chewy, and packed with nutty tahini flavor and melty chocolate chunks. Perfect for sharing warm straight from the skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small cast iron skillet or baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, tahini, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda, and sea salt until a thick dough forms.
  • Fold in chocolate chunks, reserving a few for topping.
  • Spread the dough evenly into the prepared skillet or baking dish.
  • Sprinkle reserved chocolate chunks on top and finish with flaky sea salt.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is slightly soft.
  • Cool for 10 minutes and serve warm with spoons for scooping.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers tightly covered to keep the cookie soft and gooey.
