These Cranberry Bliss Bars are soft, chewy dessert bars topped with creamy cream cheese frosting, tart dried cranberries, and a drizzle of white chocolate. Inspired by a bakery favorite, this easy homemade recipe is perfect for holidays, gatherings, or anytime you want a festive sweet treat.

Ingredients

For the bars:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries

For the frosting:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For topping:

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until combined.
  • Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  • Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and center is set. Cool completely.
  • For frosting, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread frosting evenly over cooled bars.
  • Sprinkle dried cranberries on top and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
  • Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.Add orange zest for a citrus twist.Reduce frosting for a lighter version if desired.
