These Baked Popcorn Shrimp are crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned bite-sized shrimp made in the oven for a lighter alternative to frying. This easy popcorn shrimp recipe delivers crunchy texture and juicy flavor, making it perfect for appetizers, snacks, or quick meals.

Ingredients

  • Small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Breadcrumbs or panko
  • Flour
  • Eggs
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Olive oil spray or a drizzle of oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each shrimp into flour, then egg, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Lightly spray or drizzle with oil to help crisp.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

Notes
