Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Key lime zest

For Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • Lime slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, Key lime juice, and Key lime zest until smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, just until the filling is set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  8. Remove the pie from the oven and cool to room temperature.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
