A Yogurt Granola Bowl is a healthy and customizable breakfast or snack that combines creamy yogurt, crunchy granola, and fresh fruit. It’s a quick, nutritious, and versatile dish that’s perfect for starting your day or enjoying as a light snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup granola (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans), chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spoon the Greek yogurt into a bowl. You can use any yogurt you prefer, but Greek yogurt adds extra protein and creaminess.
  2. Sprinkle granola over the yogurt, adding as much or as little as you like depending on your crunch preference.
  3. Layer fresh fruit such as sliced banana and mixed berries on top of the yogurt and granola.
  4. Optional: For extra nutrients, sprinkle chia seeds, flaxseeds, or chopped nuts over the bowl. You can also add a tablespoon of peanut butter or almond butter for a creamy texture and added protein.
  5. If desired, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the bowl to taste.
  6. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later if prepping for the next day.

Notes

For a vegan version, use non-dairy yogurt and maple syrup instead of honey.Try different fruit combinations like mango, kiwi, or pineapple for a tropical twist. For extra crunch, add toasted coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, or sunflower seeds.Chocolate lovers can sprinkle cocoa nibs or dark chocolate chips for a sweet touch.
