White Chocolate Strawberry Ghosts are a fun and festive Halloween treat made by dipping fresh strawberries in white chocolate and decorating them with chocolate faces to resemble spooky little ghosts. They’re easy, adorable, and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 20 fresh strawberries (washed and thoroughly dried)
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 12 tsp coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Mini chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate (for eyes and mouth)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Add coconut oil or shortening if needed to thin the chocolate.
  3. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off and form a small ghostly tail at the base.
  4. Place dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Before the coating sets, add mini chocolate chips for eyes and a mouth, or use a piping bag or toothpick to apply melted dark chocolate.
  6. Let the strawberry ghosts set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dry to help the chocolate adhere properly. For a thinner coating, add a small amount of coconut oil while melting the chocolate.Use parchment or wax paper to prevent sticking during the setting process.Serve chilled for best taste and presentation.Use candy eyes or decorate with colorful chocolate for fun variations.
