Velveeta Cheese Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and crowd-pleasing appetizer made with melted Velveeta and salsa or Rotel. Quick to prepare and endlessly customizable, it’s perfect for parties, game nights, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel or 1 cup salsa
  • Optional: 1/2 lb cooked ground beef or sausage
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped jalapeños
  • Optional: 1/2 cup black beans or corn
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut Velveeta into cubes for easier melting.
  2. In a saucepan or slow cooker, combine Velveeta and salsa (or Rotel).
  3. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Add in optional ingredients such as cooked beef, sausage, jalapeños, or beans, and stir to combine.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers.
