Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (regular, with cream filling)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate or red/pink/white candy melts
  • Valentine-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until a dough-like mixture forms.
  3. Scoop and roll mixture into small balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into melted chocolate, coating evenly, and let excess drip off.
  7. Place coated balls back on parchment paper and immediately decorate with sprinkles if desired.
  8. Allow to set at room temperature or refrigerate until coating hardens before serving.

Notes

Chill the Oreo balls well before dipping to prevent them from falling apart. You can make these up to a week in advance and store them in the refrigerator. No need to remove the Oreo cream filling—it helps bind the mixture. For a smoother coating, add 1 tsp coconut oil when melting chocolate chips. Can be frozen for up to 2 months and thawed in the refrigerator overnight.
