Strawberry Chocolate Chunk Bread is a moist, tender quick bread filled with fresh strawberries and chunks of chocolate. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or snacking, it balances fruity sweetness with rich chocolate indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, yogurt, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in strawberries and chocolate chunks.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean (a few melted chocolate streaks are fine).
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
