Ingredients

  • 12 ounces noodles of choice
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce.
  • Heat sesame oil and olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the shrimp, season lightly with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots. Cook for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  • Return the shrimp to the skillet and add the cooked noodles.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over everything and toss well to coat.
  • Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the noodles.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
