Snickers Salad is a no-bake Midwestern dessert that combines crisp apples, chopped Snickers candy bars, and a creamy vanilla pudding and whipped topping mixture. It’s sweet, refreshing, and perfect for potlucks or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 Snickers candy bars, chopped
  • 4 green apples (such as Granny Smith), cored and diced
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Optional: caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  3. Chop the Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Core and dice the apples into small cubes.
  5. Add the chopped apples and Snickers pieces to the pudding mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with caramel sauce just before serving.

Notes

Use lemon juice to prevent apples from browning if prepping ahead. For a flavor twist, use butterscotch pudding instead of vanilla.Homemade whipped cream can be used instead of Cool Whip.Add crushed pretzels or peanuts for crunch.Best enjoyed fresh; not freezer-friendly.
