Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp capers (optional)
  • For Serving: Crackers, sliced baguette, cucumber, or carrot sticks

Instructions

  1. Prep: Chop smoked salmon and dill, zest lemon if using.
  2. Make base: In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, zest, garlic powder, onion powder, and dill until smooth.
  3. Add salmon: Fold in smoked salmon and capers (if using).
  4. Season: Adjust salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
