A creamy and comforting slow cooker dish made with tender chicken breasts, cream cheese, and flavorful seasonings. Perfect for serving over pasta, rice, or vegetables, this family-friendly recipe is rich, hearty, and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or Italian seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch or Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Place the block of cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir everything together to create a creamy sauce.
  7. Serve hot over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or with vegetables.
