Sheet Pan Nachos are a quick, crowd-pleasing dish made by layering tortilla chips with cheese, meats, beans, and veggies, then baking until hot and melty. Perfect for parties, casual dinners, or game day snacks, they’re customizable and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (optional)
  • 1 cup black beans or pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup jalapeño slices (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes or diced roma tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 avocado or 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or crema
  • Salsa or hot sauce (optional, to serve)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a large sheet pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly across the sheet pan.
  4. Sprinkle half the shredded cheese over the chips.
  5. Add the cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (if using), beans, jalapeño slices, red onion, and tomatoes over the chips.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese for even coverage.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and top with chopped cilantro, avocado or guacamole, and drizzle with sour cream or crema.
  9. Serve immediately with salsa or hot sauce, if desired.
