Seven Layer Dip is a colorful, crowd-pleasing appetizer with layers of beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and fresh toppings. Served with tortilla chips, it’s a quick, no-cook dish that’s perfect for parties, game day, and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream (or Greek yogurt substitute)
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa or pico de gallo
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 12 jalapeños, sliced (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (optional garnish)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning until combined.
  2. Spread the seasoned beans evenly on the bottom of a clear serving dish.
  3. Add the layers in order: guacamole, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, black olives, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
  4. Garnish with jalapeños and fresh cilantro if desired.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

Assemble up to 4 hours ahead, cover, and refrigerate.For a lighter version, replace sour cream with Greek yogurt.For extra flavor, add a cream cheese and taco seasoning layer.Serve with chips or veggie sticks for a low-carb option.
