Ingredients

  • For the Shrimp:

    • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon paprika

    • Lemon wedges, for serving

    For the Homemade Cocktail Sauce:

    • ½ cup ketchup

    • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (adjust to taste)

    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    • ¼ teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Pat shrimp dry and place in a bowl. Toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast 8–10 minutes, until pink, opaque, and just cooked through.

  • While shrimp roast, combine all cocktail sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and adjust seasoning or heat as desired.

  • Transfer shrimp to a serving platter. Serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce on the side.
