Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy brie and your choice of sweet or savory toppings, these puff pastry brie bites are elegant, delicious, and perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup fruit jam (e.g., raspberry or apricot) or honey
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or as directed on puff pastry package. Line a baking sheet or mini muffin tin with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry and cut into 2-inch squares (about 24 pieces).
  3. Gently press each square into the wells of a mini muffin tin or arrange on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Place one cube of brie in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Top each with a small spoonful of jam or honey and a sprinkle of herbs if using.
  6. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puffed and golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
