Potsticker Salad is a flavorful fusion dish that combines crispy pan-fried dumplings with a fresh, crunchy salad and a tangy Asian-inspired dressing. It’s a quick, satisfying meal perfect for lunch or a light dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen potstickers (vegetable or meat-filled)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the frozen potstickers and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
  3. Add 1/4 cup water to the skillet, cover, and steam the potstickers for about 5-6 minutes or until fully cooked and water evaporates.
  4. While potstickers cook, prepare the dressing by whisking together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl.
  5. In a large bowl, combine salad greens, carrots, cabbage, cucumber, green onions, and cilantro.
  6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat.
  7. Arrange cooked potstickers on top of the salad.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using and serve immediately.

Notes

You can use homemade or store-bought potstickers.Customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand.Add crushed peanuts or chopped cashews for extra crunch.For a spicier kick, add sriracha or chili flakes to the dressing.
