Pizza muffins are a portable, savory take on classic pizza, baked in muffin form and packed with cheese, sauce, and your favorite toppings. Perfect for lunchboxes, snacks, or parties, they’re quick to make and endlessly customizable.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni (or other toppings)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers or olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and stir in milk and pizza sauce.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and any optional toppings like bell peppers or olives.
  6. Spoon the batter evenly into prepared muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until muffins are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool slightly before removing from the tin. Serve warm or at room temperature.
