Pistachio tiramisu is a no-bake, elegant dessert that combines creamy mascarpone, rich pistachio paste, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and crunchy pistachio garnish. A nutty twist on the Italian classic, perfect for impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pistachio paste or pistachio cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2024 ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (for garnish)
  • Optional: cocoa powder or white chocolate shavings for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, pistachio paste, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso and layer them in the bottom of an 8×8 inch dish.
  5. Spread a layer of pistachio cream over the soaked ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of pistachio cream on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Before serving, garnish with chopped pistachios and optionally dust with cocoa powder or white chocolate shavings.

Notes

Use high-quality pistachio paste for the best flavor.Make a day in advance to allow flavors to meld.Serve chilled for the best texture and taste.Add liqueur to the coffee for an adult twist.Store in the fridge and avoid freezing to maintain texture.
