Pinwheel sandwiches are colorful tortilla wraps filled with spreads, meats, cheeses, and veggies, rolled up and sliced into spirals. They’re easy, customizable, and perfect for parties, picnics, school lunches, or as a fun appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese or flavored spread (hummus, ranch, or pesto)
  • 8 slices deli meat (turkey or chicken)
  • 4 slices cheese (cheddar, provolone, or Swiss)
  • 1 cup fresh vegetables (spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, etc.)
  • Optional extras: olives, pickles, or fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese or chosen spread over the tortilla.
  3. Add 2 slices of deli meat and 1 slice of cheese on top.
  4. Arrange vegetables evenly over the tortilla, keeping them flat.
  5. Starting at one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log.
  6. Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Slice into 1-inch pieces and serve chilled.

Mediterranean: hummus, feta, olives, cucumbers, roasted red peppers.Italian: pesto, salami, provolone, spinach.Vegetarian: cream cheese, shredded carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, spinach.Breakfast: scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, light spread.Sweet: cream cheese, strawberries or bananas, drizzle of honey.Best eaten fresh; store leftovers in the fridge up to 2 days.
