Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls are a crispy, golden appetizer packed with the classic flavors of a traditional Philly cheesesteak. Tender sliced beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted provolone cheese are wrapped in crunchy egg roll wrappers and fried until perfectly crisp. These savory bites are perfect for parties, game days, or as a fun twist on the iconic sandwich, especially when served with your favorite dipping sauces.
1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
12 egg roll wrappers
6 slices provolone cheese, halved
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and sauté for 4–5 minutes until softened.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned.
Season with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Cook for another minute.
Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with one corner pointing toward you.
Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center and top with ½ slice of provolone cheese.
Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly to form an egg roll. Seal the edge with a little water.
Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
