Peppermint Bark Brownies are rich, fudgy chocolate brownies topped with layers of melted chocolate and crunchy crushed peppermint candy. They’re festive, indulgent, and perfect for holidays or chocolate-mint lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix or equivalent homemade brownie batter
  • 2 eggs (if using mix)
  • 1/2 cup oil or melted butter (if using mix)
  • 1/4 cup water (if using mix)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy canes or peppermint candies

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven according to the brownie recipe instructions and grease or line a baking pan.
  • Prepare the brownie batter as directed and pour it evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Remove brownies from the oven and allow them to cool slightly while still warm.
  • Melt the semi-sweet or dark chocolate and spread it evenly over the brownies.
  • Melt the white chocolate and drizzle or spread it over the dark chocolate layer.
  • Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies evenly over the top.
  • Let the brownies cool completely until the topping is fully set.
  • Slice into squares and serve.

Notes
