Peach Crisp is a cozy and easy-to-make dessert featuring juicy peaches baked under a golden, buttery oat topping. Perfectly sweet and crunchy, it’s a crowd-pleasing treat ideal for any season.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups sliced fresh, frozen, or canned peaches (drained if using canned)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter (or vegan butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss sliced peaches with granulated sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the peach mixture to a greased 9-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use frozen peaches directly from the freezer; add a few extra minutes to baking time.For gluten-free, use GF flour and certified GF oats.Add chopped nuts to the topping for crunch.Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a classic finish.Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
