Nutella Ice Cream is a creamy, indulgent frozen dessert made with rich chocolate-hazelnut spread. Smooth and decadent, it’s perfect for Nutella lovers and easy to prepare with or without an ice cream maker.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, sugar, and salt. Warm over medium heat until sugar dissolves, without boiling.
  2. Stir in Nutella and whisk until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until well chilled.
  5. If using an ice cream maker, churn according to manufacturer’s instructions until thick and creamy.
  6. If making without a machine, freeze in a container for 2–3 hours, stir well, then return to the freezer until firm.
  7. Scoop and serve.

Notes

For a swirl effect, fold in extra Nutella before final freezing.Chopped hazelnuts or chocolate chips add texture.Use coconut milk and dairy-free hazelnut spread for a vegan version.Chilling the mixture thoroughly before freezing ensures a creamier texture.
