Mummy Pizzas are mini Halloween-themed pizzas made to look like spooky mummies with melted cheese ‘bandages’ and olive ‘eyes.’ They’re easy, fun to make, and perfect for parties, kids, or festive family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough or 6 English muffins (halved)
  • 1/2 cup tomato or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or 6 string cheeses (cut into thin strips)
  • 12 black olive slices (for eyes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni slices, diced veggies, or jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into small circles or rectangles. If using English muffins, slice them in half.
  3. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over each pizza base.
  4. Lay strips of mozzarella or string cheese across the top to resemble mummy bandages.
  5. Add two black olive slices near the top for eyes.
  6. Brush edges lightly with olive oil if desired.
  7. Place pizzas on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
