Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is a rich, creamy, and cheesy baked pasta dish made with layers of cheese ravioli, savory meat sauce, and a luxurious blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and ricotta or cottage cheese. It’s an easy, comforting meal perfect for busy nights or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen or refrigerated cheese ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 3 cups marinara or pasta sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5–10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage or ricotta cheese. Mix until smooth. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
  6. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce. Spread half of the cheese mixture over the ravioli.
  7. Add another layer of meat sauce and sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, cheese mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  9. Top with grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of garlic powder or additional Italian seasoning, if desired.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  12. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley, if using.
