Meatball sliders are savory mini sandwiches made with tender meatballs, marinara sauce, melted cheese, and soft slider buns—baked until golden and gooey. Perfect as an appetizer or easy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 cooked meatballs (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Place one cooked meatball on each bun and spoon marinara sauce over each meatball.
  4. Top each meatball with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns over the meatballs.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over the tops of the buns.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if using.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
