Lobster tail is a tender, buttery seafood delicacy that’s easy to prepare and perfect for special occasions. Whether broiled, baked, or grilled, it delivers sweet, succulent flavor and an elegant presentation with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 24 lobster tails (fresh or thawed if frozen)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil (or 450°F for baking). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise to the tail fan. Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell.
  3. Place lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  5. Brush the butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  6. Broil for 8–10 minutes (or bake for 12–15 minutes), until the meat is opaque and slightly golden. Do not overcook.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges, extra melted butter, and parsley if desired.

Notes

Use kitchen shears to easily butterfly the lobster tails for even cooking and a beautiful look.Don’t overcook—lobster becomes rubbery if left in the oven too long.To grill, brush with garlic butter and cook over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side.Add herbs or spices like dill, tarragon, or Cajun seasoning to vary the flavor.Great with rice, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad.
