Joann’s Chicken Salad with Grapes is a creamy, flavorful, and easy lunch recipe made with tender chicken, juicy grapes, crisp celery, and a light tangy dressing. This sweet and savory chicken salad is perfect for sandwiches, wraps, lettuce cups, or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, halved grapes, and chopped celery.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Fold in the chopped nuts and fresh parsley, if using.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve cold in sandwiches, wraps, lettuce cups, or with crackers.

Notes

Rotisserie chicken works great for convenience and added flavor.Red or green seedless grapes both work well.For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt in place of some or all of the mayonnaise.Make sure the grapes and chicken are dry before mixing to avoid excess moisture.Best served cold and enjoyed within 3 days.
