Ingredient Chocolate Chip Brownies are an easy-to-make, rich, and fudgy dessert made with just a few pantry staples. These brownies are the perfect balance of gooey texture and chocolatey flavor, ideal for satisfying your sweet cravings in no time.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. For fudgier brownies, bake for a shorter time, and for firmer brownies, bake a little longer.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting them into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. For a gooier texture, reduce the flour to 1/3 cup and slightly underbake them.Top your brownies with ice cream for an indulgent dessert, or add nuts for extra crunch. For a vegan version, replace the eggs with flax eggs and use plant-based butter or oil.
