Ingredients

  • Turkey breast (boneless or bone-in)
  • Olive oil or butter
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • Fresh thyme (chopped)
  • Fresh sage (chopped)
  • Lemon zest
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Onion (sliced, optional)
  • Chicken broth or stock

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil or softened butter with garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  • Rub the herb mixture evenly over the turkey breast, coating all sides.
  • Place sliced onion in a roasting pan and set the turkey breast on top.
  • Pour a small amount of chicken broth into the pan to keep the meat moist.
  • Roast for 45–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
