Ingredients

  • 2024 plain or glazed donut holes (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2024 lollipop sticks or skewers
  • Candy melts (white, orange, black, green, purple)
  • Halloween sprinkles and decorations
  • Candy eyes
  • Mini chocolate chips or decorating gel (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons vegetable shortening or coconut oil (optional, to thin candy melts)
  • Wax paper or parchment paper (for setting)

Instructions

  1. Insert a lollipop stick into the center of each donut hole. Place on a tray lined with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Melt candy melts in separate bowls according to package directions. Add shortening or coconut oil if needed for a smoother consistency.
  3. Dip each donut hole into the melted candy, using a spoon to coat if necessary. Tap off the excess.
  4. Immediately decorate with candy eyes, sprinkles, or themed toppings before the coating sets.
  5. For mummies: dip in white melts, then drizzle extra white lines and add candy eyes.
  6. For monsters: dip in green or purple melts, then add candy eyes and fun sprinkles.
  7. For pumpkins: dip in orange melts and add jack-o’-lantern faces with melted chocolate or black decorating gel.
  8. Stand pops upright in a foam block or place on parchment to dry for 15–20 minutes until fully set.
  9. Once dry, serve or package as desired.
