This Grilled Honey Garlic Chicken is juicy, flavorful, and coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic marinade. Perfect for weeknight dinners or backyard barbecues, this easy grilled chicken recipe delivers tender chicken with a delicious caramelized glaze.
4 boneless chicken breasts or chicken thighs
¼ cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Place the chicken in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off.
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6–7 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
Brush some of the reserved marinade over the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
Cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
