Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender, juicy cubes of steak seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. Ready in just 20 minutes, this one-pan dish is perfect as a quick dinner, appetizer, or meal prep protein.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add steak bites in a single layer without crowding. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Work in batches if needed.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return all steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan—work in batches for a proper sear.Use ribeye or New York strip for extra richness and flavor. For a spicy version, add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the butter.Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or veggies for a complete meal.Ghee can be used instead of butter for a higher smoke point and deeper flavor.
