Fritos Chili Cheese Salad is a bold and crunchy crowd-pleaser made with seasoned ground beef, chili beans, cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, and crispy corn chips. This easy and hearty salad is perfect for potlucks, game days, or quick family meals.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Fritos corn chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz) can chili beans
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and chili beans. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until heated through. Let cool slightly.
  • In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and red onion.
  • Add the beef and bean mixture on top of the vegetables.
  • Stir in sour cream and mayonnaise until evenly coated.
  • Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Just before serving, gently mix in Fritos corn chips to keep them crunchy.
  • Serve immediately
