Easy Rum-Soaked Grilled Pineapple is a juicy, tropical dessert featuring fresh pineapple slices soaked in a spiced rum marinade and grilled to caramelized perfection. It’s a quick, flavorful treat ideal for summer cookouts or easy entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings
  • 1/4 cup dark or spiced rum
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the rum, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  2. Add the pineapple slices and gently toss to coat. Let soak for 20–30 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove the pineapple from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off.
  5. Grill the pineapple slices for 3–4 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the fruit is caramelized.
  6. Remove from the grill and, if desired, brush lightly with any remaining marinade.
  7. Serve warm on its own or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
