No bake cookies are chewy, chocolatey treats made with oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and sugar. They require no oven—just a saucepan and a few minutes on the stovetop—making them perfect for quick and easy desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.
  4. Boil for exactly 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Stir in oats and salt (if using) until fully combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly if desired.
  8. Let cookies cool and set at room temperature for 20–30 minutes or chill in the fridge to speed up the process.
  9. Once set, store in an airtight container.
