Easter Bunny Spinach Dip is a creamy, cheesy spinach dip served in a festive bunny-shaped bread bowl, perfect for Easter or springtime gatherings. It’s both adorable and delicious, making it a standout centerpiece appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) package fresh or frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large round bread loaf (for bunny body)
  • 34 small bread rolls (for head, paws, and tail)
  • Black olives or peppercorns (for bunny eyes and nose)
  • Toothpicks (for assembly)
  • Optional: cucumber slices or bell pepper pieces (for bunny ears)
  • Sliced veggies, crackers, or bread cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if serving the dip warm.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream or Greek yogurt, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. If baking, transfer to an oven-safe dish and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. While dip bakes or chills, prepare the bread bunny: cut a hollow in the round loaf to make a bowl.
  6. Attach a small roll on top for the head using toothpicks.
  7. Add two small rolls for paws and one for the tail using toothpicks.
  8. Place black olives or peppercorns for the eyes and nose.
  9. Optional: use cucumber slices or bell pepper pieces as ears, securing with toothpicks.
  10. Fill the bread bowl with spinach dip.
  11. Surround with veggies, crackers, or bread cubes for dipping.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

To prevent sogginess, toast the inside of the bread bowl before filling.Chill the dip ahead of time if serving cold—up to 2 days in advance.Use dairy-free substitutions to make the dip vegan-friendly.Artichokes or water chestnuts add great texture if mixed in.Serve with colorful veggies for a vibrant, spring-themed platter.
