Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Optional: lemon slices or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the Lemonade: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Combine Lemon Juice: Once the syrup has cooled, mix it with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1/2 cup cold water. Stir well to combine.
  3. Pour Into Molds: Pour the lemonade mixture into popsicle molds. If you like, drop in a few lemon slices or mint leaves for a garnish.
  4. Freeze: Insert sticks into the molds and place the popsicles in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  5. Serve: Once the popsicles are frozen, remove them from the molds by running warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Serve and enjoy!
