Dubai Stuffed Dates are an elegant no-bake Middle Eastern dessert made with soft Medjool dates filled with creamy mascarpone or crunchy nuts, then dipped in rich chocolate and topped with pistachios or coconut. These luxurious stuffed dates are naturally sweet, easy to prepare, and perfect for holidays, Ramadan, gifting, or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted

  • ½ cup cream cheese or mascarpone

  • 20 whole almonds or pistachios (optional for nutty version)

  • 1 cup dark or milk chocolate, melted

  • ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut

  • ¼ cup crushed pistachios or walnuts

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  • Slice each Medjool date lengthwise on one side and remove pits if necessary.

  • Gently open each date without separating it completely.

  • Fill the center with a small spoonful of cream cheese or mascarpone, or insert a whole almond or pistachio.

  • Dip half of each stuffed date into melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.

  • Sprinkle with shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or a light pinch of sea salt before the chocolate sets.

  • Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until chocolate firms.

  • Serve at room temperature for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Use large, soft Medjool dates for best results.Do not overfill to prevent splitting.For extra shine, allow chocolate to set gradually in the refrigerator without moisture exposure.Add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom for warm spice flavor.
