Crème de Menthe Pie is a no-bake, creamy dessert featuring a refreshing mint flavor from crème de menthe liqueur and a rich chocolate cookie crust. With its vibrant green color and fluffy texture, it’s a festive treat perfect for holidays or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crème de menthe liqueur (green)
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 chocolate cookie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons crème de cacao
  • Optional: Green food coloring
  • Optional: Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine mini marshmallows and cream or milk, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Stir in crème de menthe and crème de cacao (if using) until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in whipped topping or whipped cream until the mixture is light and uniform.
  5. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring for a more vibrant color.
  6. Pour the filling into the chocolate cookie crust and smooth the top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight until set.
  8. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or mint leaves if desired.
