Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, frozen banana, peanut butter (if using), sweetener (if desired), and vanilla extract to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker consistency and blend again.
