Chili Lime Shrimp is a quick and zesty dish featuring tender shrimp marinated in lime juice, chili spices, and garlic, then cooked in minutes. Perfect for tacos, rice bowls, or salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
  6. Serve hot with rice, in tacos, or over salad.
