Chicken Tetrazzini is a classic American casserole combining tender chicken, pasta, and a creamy, cheesy sauce. It’s a comforting and versatile dish that’s perfect for family dinners and can be made ahead for convenience, making it ideal for busy weeknights or special occasions.
For the Chicken Tetrazzini:
1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
1 pound spaghetti or linguine, cooked al dente
2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Pasta: Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Mix Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Combine Ingredients: Add the shredded chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce mixture. Stir gently to combine, ensuring the pasta and chicken are evenly coated.
