A delicious and easy Chicken Mozzarella Bake made with tender chicken breasts smothered in marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a lightly greased baking dish.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving, if desired.

Notes
