Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

  • 1 small onion, finely grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • 3 tablespoons oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheese, grated onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and mayonnaise.

  • Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and chopped parsley.

  • Mix everything thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly combined.

  • Shape the mixture into medium-sized patties using your hands.

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Place the patties in the skillet, leaving space between each one.

  • Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked through.

  • Transfer the cooked kotleti to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
