Cheesy Pickle Chips are tangy dill pickle slices baked or air-fried with melted cheese until golden and crispy. A quick, low-carb, and keto-friendly snack or appetizer that’s perfect for parties or game day.

Ingredients

  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or other melting cheese)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp paprika or cayenne (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat pickle slices dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or prepare the air fryer basket.
  4. Place small piles of shredded cheese slightly larger than the pickle slices on the sheet or basket.
  5. Top each pile with a pickle slice and sprinkle more cheese on top.
  6. Season lightly with garlic powder or paprika if using.
  7. Bake or air fry for 8–12 minutes, until cheese is melted, golden, and crisp.
  8. Allow to cool for 2–3 minutes before removing so the cheese firms up.
  9. Serve warm with ranch, spicy mayo, or dipping sauce of choice.
